Administration and public law
Both businesses and private individuals have significant rights and obligations towards the public sector. In all industries and across all areas of society, one encounters public authorities, whether as legislators, enforcers or service providers. Effective and targeted contact with public authorities requires a thorough understanding of public law regulations and practical experience from cases against and for public bodies.
Our lawyers have extensive experience in administrative and public law, gained from previous positions in the public sector and from private practice. Several of us have provided ongoing legal advice to public bodies for many years, including courses and training in public law topics. We also have extensive experience in providing legal advice and litigation on behalf of organisations, companies and private individuals in cases against the public sector.
Among other things, we assist with the drafting and revision of rules and regulations, as well as providing advice and liaising with the authorities during ongoing change processes. Our services also include applications, appeals and follow-up of public decisions, as well as dispute resolution and other advice within administrative law. Administrative law and public law often intersect with other areas of law such as real estate, inheritance law, child welfare and company law. Our solicitors therefore work closely together internally and often in teams, enabling us to offer comprehensive and specialised assistance to our clients.
