We have a large inheritance law team that works daily with targeted inheritance planning and the execution of inheritance settlements, as well as assisting heirs in inheritance disputes. Four of our lawyers regularly receive assignments from Asker and Bærum District Court as estate administrators in public estate settlements.

The executor's task is to settle the estate, including selling or distributing assets. The executor may be publicly appointed by the district court or hired by the heirs jointly in a private settlement. Many heirs choose to conduct a private division, but engage a lawyer to assist them in ensuring that everything is done correctly.
